»In 2003, I wanted to make the Duras novel ›Dix heures et demie du soir en été‹ into a film. It was to take a whole three years before shooting could finally begin, and then it took another two and a half years before the film was finally finished. I remember listening to a lot of Kate Bush with Kerstin Linnartz. This film also marked my first encounter with Sascia Haj.
